I’m a big fan of batching content for your business. Work smarter, not harder, you know? But planning ahead is difficult during the busy holiday season, especially when you’re a business owner. So here’s 35+ post ideas for the month of January! (including story ideas!!)

I looked up a list of random holidays and chose some that could be used as bouncing points for content creation and post ideas. This is a great list to come back to when you’re planning ahead and have writer’s block.

Tip: I wouldn’t make every single post related to a random holiday, but these can be fun ideas when you need some inspiration!

January 1 - New Years Day

  • Self-care tips

  • Your self-care schedule

  • Your favorite way to relax

  • What does self-care mean to you?

January 9 - National Vision Board Day

  • What’s your vision for this year?

  • How do you envision your business growing this month?

  • How did you create your brand?

January 10 - Houseplant Appreciation Day

  • Post your working from home set up

January 12 - National Hot Tea Day

  • Post on stories a poll, ask your followers if they prefer tea or coffee

January 13- Make Your Dream Come True Day

  • Share about how owning your own business is a dream come true

  • Share your dreams & ask your followers about theirs

  • What are some steps you can take to make your dreams a reality?

January 14- Dress Up Your Pet Day

  • Like we need an actual reason to do this

January 18 - MLK day

  • Do you have any special deals or coupons for this holiday?

  • Post about the importance of the continued fight for racial justice.

January 24- Compliment Day

  • Share why you love your followers

  • Give a client shout out

  • Tell your followers to tag someone in the comments and compliment them

  • How can you show love to others in your life?

January 25- Last Monday of the Month

  • Monday motivation

  • Share your weekly to-do list

  • What are your February goals?

  • What do you do on Mondays to prepare for the week?

January 28 - Have Fun at Work Day

  • Every day is a fun work day when you’re an entrepreneur!
